SLI Global Solutions has been selected by the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) through the State’s Quality Assurance Master Services Agreement contract to provide Quality Management (QM) services for the implementation of the new Oregon Procurement Information Network System (ORPIN 2.0).
The QM services are for the State Procurement Office’s implementation of a Software as a Service (SaaS) solution to transition the procurement business process to an electronic enterprise marketplace. SLI’s work is helping to assure that appropriate levels of Quality Management activities are performed throughout the Project lifecycle and for specific portions of the Project lifecycle. These activities provide DAS with visibility into the processes being used and the products being built by the SaaS Solution Provider. These Quality Management activities are focused on determining that project risks are well understood and appropriately mitigated or managed.
The SLI team was responsible for developing a Quality Management Plan (QMP) and conducting the Initial Project Risk Assessment to ensure that risks associated with project management and system development processes and products were identified and addressed for the Initiation and Planning project phases. Going forward, SLI will be preparing Bi-Monthly Quality Status Report and presenting Quarterly QA Status and Improvement Reports to the project sponsors, with the goal of providing early identification of risks and actionable recommendations to manage them.
