SLI Global Solutions has been selected by the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) to provide Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) services to help oversee the implementation of its Integrated Case Management System (ICMS) project.
SLI’s IV&V services include Requirements Management; Software Development, and System and User Acceptance Testing assessments of the ICMS Project, which will benefit four (4) FSSA administered care divisions: Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning (OMPP), Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS), Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA), and Division of Aging (DA).
As FSSA’s IV&V partner, SLI is providing project oversight and reporting resources to monitor the ICMS design, development, and implementation effort - which is based on an Agile methodology. SLI staff are responsible for completing software development IV&V tasks, providing technical oversight, and delivering fact-based findings and recommendations. These activities focus on determining that project risks are well understood, appropriately mitigated, and managed.
The SLI team is also responsible for developing an IV&V Quality Management Plan and Roadmap, which describe the activities, personnel, schedule, standards, and methodology for conducting the IV&V reviews. The SLI Team will be preparing Quarterly Status Reports and presenting Management Briefings to the project sponsors, with the goal of providing early identification of risks and issues, and recommending mitigation strategies to manage them.
SLI is proud to be a partner in the state’s effort to replace antiquated, expensive, and difficult-to-support systems, with the ultimate goal to limit or decrease case management expenditures while improving quality and expanding consumer choice.
